Check References

Asking for references isn’t just about asking a customer if a contractor did a good job, and doing a good job doesn’t mean that the customer was or is completely happy with their experience. Many questions will reveal the type of experience and potentially even the stress they had during the completion of their job. Things that should be asked include what kind of work, size of the job, contractor’s credentials, clear expectations, communication level, and budget issues.
