4.Franklin on Foot Tour
Franklin on Foot hosts ghost, history, civil war, crime, cemetery and food tours. There’s a tour almost every single day of the week. Owner of Franklin on Foot, Margie Thessin, is a history buff and expert on all things history relating to Franklin (and beyond)! She began giving walking tours in Franklin in 1995. Her hobby turned into her passion and then her business. She has written two books: Ghosts of Franklin, Tennessee’s Most Haunted Town (2008), and Lizzie’s War (2012), a historical novel for elementary-age children set in Franklin during the Civil War.
