5 Things We Love About Sprouts

Sprouts

Sprouts held their Grand Opening on March 2nd and it has been one of the most anticipated openings of a grocery store in quite some time. And for good reason–Sprouts’ motto is to make healthy living more affordable. Located in the former Stein Mart building, at 1010 Murfreesboro Road in the Maples Shopping Center,we attended the preview party as well as the Grand Opening and we keep going back for more. With every trip to Sprouts,we find so many things we love but we narrowed it down to just five. And we’d like to hear all about your discoveries as well.  Leave us a comment.

1. Organic Produce

Sprouts began as a produce stand in San Diego. Because of their beginnings they are committed to offering lots of fresh produce at reasonable prices. The organic section alone is much larger that most stores. Sprouts goes to great lengths to ensure there is no cross continuation between the regular produce and the organic produce. Organic produce has large green stickers which say “organic” on them and they are placed in their own section of the store. You can also find exotic fruits like dragon fruit and rambutan–you have to try the pixie tangerines.
